About this salon
Selfish Shoreditch is one of two Selfish nail salons in east London, on French Place, a quiet side street behind Great Eastern Street between Shoreditch High Street and Old Street stations. Every manicure starts with dry e-file cuticle work, the Ukrainian technique the artists are trained in, and finishes with a choice of more than 600 colours. Every product used is vegan.
The menu covers BIAB new sets and infills, gel manicures, Manucurist Paris hybrid polish, and three extension systems: Gel-X soft gel tips for short to medium lengths, sculpted sets built on a form with no tip, and acrygel for serious length. Pedicures come dry or full, finished in gel, hybrid polish or a no-polish Japanese clay buff. Nail art runs from French tips through hand-painted, Korean-style, chrome and 3D designs.
Open Monday to Friday from 11am to 8pm, Saturday from 10am to 7pm and Sunday from 10am to 6pm. Booking online secures a specific artist; walk-in slots are limited. The sister salon, Selfish Spitalfields, is on Toynbee Street and runs the same menu.
